Apple Group had its humble beginnings of business in 1985 as a Cement Dealer by the name Manjunatha Agencies and thereon became C&F agents and later sole distributorship of Sagar Cement, Suvarna Cement and Nagarjuna Cement for entire Karnataka. The first noticeable milestone for the business was In the year 1998 when the company started its own manufacturing unit by name Lodhi Calcium Products Pvt.Ltd in Kurnool Dist. AP, with a capacity of 100 MT per day and marketing cement with the brand name Asian Cement. Moving forward, the business operations were spread to Chitradurga & Belgaum District during 2004 & 2007 when the company acquired 2 more manufacturing units with a capacity of 250 MT & 750 MT per day respectively, by name DM Cements Pvt.Ltd. and Ratna Cements (Yadwad) Ltd. Beyond Cement sector, the business diversified in to Automobile segment with dealerships for Indian and Global brands like Kinetic, Suzuki and Volkswagen. After successful business growth in the first 2 sectors, the group ventured in to the real estate segment with a few joint venture projects. In 2014, the group launches its own brand Apple Spire with a milestone 25 stories project in Nayandahalli, Mysore Road.
